Our Journey and Mission
What started as a simple game night among friends quickly grew into a hunger for something more. Through our time as Beacon YA and later Valley, we saw God grow our community, but that growth also revealed a need for a deeper commitment—a move from a casual gathering to a covenantal one.
Today, as Valley, we have sharpened our focus. We are a discipleship movement committed to robust theological training, life-on-life relationships, and the active pursuit of holiness, all in service to the local church. Our goal remains the same, but our method is more intentional: to forge disciples with unshakable conviction, equipped to fulfill the Great Commission in Tampa and beyond.

The Valley
Ways
We’re a discipleship movement with three interconnected rhythms that form disciples who shape cities.
The Summit
Monthly gatherings (2nd Friday, 7-9 PM) with liturgical rhythm, theological teaching, and the Lord’s Table.
Groups
Weekly home-based discipleship groups led by qualified leaders for deep theological formation and community.
Ventures
Fellowship events for shared life and community building – from game nights to service projects.

James
We’re currently walking through the Book of James, exploring what it means to live out genuine faith in the midst of life’s trials. This series focuses on biblical wisdom for navigating challenges, growing through difficulties, and demonstrating authentic Christian character in everyday circumstances. James teaches us that trials aren’t obstacles to our faith—they’re opportunities to develop spiritual maturity and unshakable conviction.

The first step is to attend The Summit, our monthly gathering held on the second Friday of every month at 7:00 PM. This is where our entire community comes together for worship, teaching, and fellowship. To attend, click the “Plan Your Visit” button on our website to register and receive the location details.
The Summit includes a shared meal, worship through music, in-depth Bible teaching, games, activities, and time for fellowship.
No. There are no fees, dues, or costs to be a part of Valley. All materials and meals at our monthly Summit gathering are provided.
You don’t need any prior experience with in-depth Bible study. Our teaching is designed to challenge and grow everyone, regardless of where you’re starting. We believe in learning together as a community.
