Our Story
From Games to Discipleship Movement
Valley began as a simple game night among friends who hungered for something deeper. Today, we have grown into a discipleship movement united by one core commitment: our unwavering love and devotion to God.
Our Mission
“To raise up real disciples who shape cities through rich theology, deep covenantal community, and the pursuit of Christ’s Lordship in every sphere of life.”
The Beginning
Simple Beginnings
What started as a weekly game night among friends in Tampa quickly revealed a deeper hunger. Young believers were tired of shallow faith and surface-level relationships. They wanted to be formed by God’s Word, not just entertained by religious programming.
William Hamilton, recognizing this hunger, began teaching through the deeper things of Scripture. These informal gatherings grew into something more structured, more intentional, more disciple-focused.
The Vision Emerges
A Movement is Born
As the community grew, so did the vision. What began as a simple gathering evolved into a discipleship movement with a clear three-part structure: Summit for corporate worship and teaching, Groups for weekly discipleship, and Ventures for fellowship and community building.
Valley is recognized for its theological depth, deep and real commitment, and dedication to raising disciples who will reform churches and shape cities. The focus remains firmly on authentic formation and lasting spiritual growth.
The Future
Generational Thinking
Valley thinks beyond—we aim to impact our future generations. Our vision extends beyond Tampa Bay to see disciples raised up who will plant churches, start businesses, serve in government, and influence culture for the glory of Christ.
We’re building more than just a ministry, we’re building a movement of young believers who understand that Christ is King over every sphere of life, and who are equipped to live and lead accordingly.

The Valley Story
We saw the gaps and the hunger, young adults wanting to really understand the Bible, ask hard questions, and build real relationships. What started as a group of friends has now turned into a community committed to serious Bible teaching and doctrine, authentic relationships, and living as disciples who make an impact in our city, nation, and whole generation.
Following Christ's Command
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
What Drives Us
These core values shape everything we do at Valley, from how we teach to how we build community to how we envision the future.
Formation Driven
We believe in life transformation through deep discipleship, not just knowledge transfer. Character formation is as important as theological education.
Family Under Covenant
We believe we have been brought together by the blood of Christ. And we are called to learn, grow, and serve together as one body.
Everlasting View
We think beyond ourselves. Our goal is to raise disciples who will influence their generation and the next for Christ’s Kingdom.
Rooted in Historic Christianity
Valley stands firmly in the tradition of historic Christianity—rooted in Scripture, informed by tradition, shaped by reason, and lived out in community. We affirm the great creeds of the faith while maintaining evangelical convictions.

Historic Creeds
We affirm the Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds as faithful summaries of biblical truth.

God's Sovereignty and Human Freedom
We affirm the absolute sovereignty of God working through genuine human freedom. God's eternal decree does not negate human responsibility, but establishes it within His perfect plan.

Biblical Interpretation
We interpret Scripture as a unified narrative moving from creation to new creation through the person and work of Christ, seeing God's redemptive plan unfold through a progression of distinct yet interrelated covenants.

Join the Valley Story
Valley’s story is still being written. We believe God is calling young believers to be part of something bigger than themselves—a movement that will influence generations for the Kingdom of Christ.
