First-Timer Questions
Common questions from people visiting Valley for the first time.
Knowledge
Do I need to know anything about your theology beforehand?
Not at all! We hold to historic Christianity, and we welcome anyone curious about deeper faith. Our teaching is accessible while being theologically serious.
Welcoming
What if I don't know anyone there?
Perfect! We love welcoming newcomers. Our leadership team will introduce you to others, and you’ll find Valley people are genuinely interested in getting to know you. The post-Summit fellowship time is especially good for making connections.
Restrictions
Is Valley only for people aged 16-30?
While Valley focuses on believers aged 16-30, people of all ages attend Summit. Our Groups and leadership development are specifically designed for the 16-30 demographic, but everyone is welcome at our monthly gatherings.
Weather
What happens if it rains?
The pavilion is covered, so light rain won’t affect us. In case of severe weather, we’ll post updates on our website and social media. When in doubt, check our contact page or give us a call.
Childcare
Can I bring my kids?
Children are welcome at Summit, though our content and format are designed for teenage and adult engagement. Parents are responsible for their children during the gathering, and the outdoor setting works well for families.
Ready for Your First Summit?
We’re genuinely excited to welcome you into the Valley community. Come expecting to encounter God’s Word, meet authentic people, and discover what covenantal discipleship looks like.
